Components - Hardware The Vector system is modular in design. A Vector system may be made up of virtually any combination of the following components, depending on the needs of the customer. The EPOS_T point of sale terminal
Unique to CSY the EPOS-T terminal incorporates all the features of a powerful PC based processor, powered tilting touch screen and optionally an inbuilt customer display into a compact small footprint box.
With pleasing looks and smooth easily cleaned surfaces the CSY EPOS-T is credit to the image of your store. Cable management allows all cables to be concealed behind the rear and to go directly through the counter invisible to customers.  Cash Drawers
All types of cash drawer are supported. These include sliding or flip top, with or without media slots, etc. The drawer can be opened either automatically during a sale or manually with a key. Card Swipers & Online Authorisation Chip and Pin
A chip and pin card reader and a mag swipe reader can be attached be connected to take credit/debit card details, verification is obtained instantly online.  Keyboards
Both EPOS (colour-coded) and QWERTY (normal) keyboards can be supplied. Normally the EPOS keyboard would be used at point of sale, with the QWERTY keyboard used in the back office, though the QWERTY keyboard can be used on the counter if required. Barcode Readers
All types of bar code readers are supported and can be supplied, including CCD, hand lasers, ball lasers and flat beds in the counter. A barcode reader enables the operator to scan a stock item. Not only will this bring up the item's pricing information, but it should also bring up its stock levels, and any other general information stored about the product in the systems stock file. Customer Displays
A customer display allows people to see exactly what they are buying, how much the item costs, the sale total, and how much change is to be given at the end of a sale. It can also show the customer some useful information whilst they wait. Moving advertising messages set by the user can be displayed. Customer displays are either integral with the EPOS-T or stand alone pole displays  Printers and Images
Vector supports multiple printer types Reports, invoices, shelf edge labels, and larger customer VAT receipts can be produced on any Windows supported printer. This may be laser, inkjet or dot matrix. Vector supports receipt and cheque printers, including dot matrix and thermal, some with the ability to produce barcode labels. Dedicated barcode printers capable of producing labels from Garden Centre outdoor plant labels to jewlery labels are supported. CSY supplies hardware and software solutions for all types of retail printing. Vector supports the inclusion of prodcut photos captured on digital camera, scanners or downloaded from the internet.
Weighing Scales
The CSY Vector System is approved for the connection of weighing scales in all EU countries.
