CSY Vector is a flexible and cost effective Electronic Point-Of-Sale (EPOS) system for retail and wholesale businesses. Vector installations comprise all the required hardware and software and range from a single PC in a single-site company to sites with twenty or more machines.

Multi-branch operations using CSY StoreSync, provides constant and virtully immediate updating of data throughout the network. Management have access to virtually real time data while preserving the security of independent in store servers.

Vector is comprehensive, covering not only standard retail sales but sales to credit accounts, loyalty club members, staff purchases and more. The system can provide quotations, handle telephone orders, layaways, special orders and buying, customer not present credit card transactions and weighed items. Operators can be prompted to sell related items and special offers.
Complete and comprehensive reporting
Detailed sales and profit reports can be generated using a combination of parameters including dates, times, items, departments, stores, sales type, salespersons, suppliers, manufacturers etc. The system includes a full reordering and purchase order processing subsystem with reorder levels calculated using CSY's ASR stockholding algorithms to provide balanced stockholding and JIT (just in time) re-supply. A full shelf edge and ticketing system is included. The CSY Vector System has links to most external accounting systems.
Vector can export its files and reports in most file formats including Microsoft Excel, HTML and PDF.
Total security to ensure your store can trade
Vector is a real time system with all the advantages that brings. Using our database synchronisation tools we can provide you with a live in-store backup which means that you can continue to trade should your main server fail. Once a server is back on line it will automatically be updated with the most recent transactions.
Duplex servers are available for larger installations.
Head Office servers collect and despatch data to the stores every few minutes under control of CSY StoreSync. CSY can also provide you with an online backup to our own systems.
A well established system
CSY Vector is installed throughout the UK from the Shetlands to Penzance, and abroad. Users include phamacies, supermarkets, hardware and DIY stores, garden centres, car aftermarket stores and motor factors, agricultural suppliers, tile stores etc.
CSY is a member of and works closely with The British Hardware Federation, The Horticultural Trades Assocation, The Garden Centre Association and CAAR.
A scaleable solution
There is no limit to the number of terminals which may be connected to a Vector system. Our smallest user has a single PC based system in their one store; our largest user currently has over 100 stores installed with links to their warehouses, head office and factories. Terminals may be added in line with business growth.
Platform Independent
Vector is a platform independent database system. The central servers can run under Linux, Windows and Novell.
