The Vector system is modular in design. A Vector system may be made up of virtually any combination of the following components, depending on the needs of the customer.
The EPOS-T point of sale terminal
Unique to CSY the EPOS-T terminal incorporates all the features of a powerful PC based processor, tilting touch screen and optionally an inbuilt customer display into a compact small footprint box. With pleasing looks and smooth easily cleaned surfaces the CSY EPOS-T is a credit to the image of your store. Cable management allows all cables to be concealed underneath the unit and exit direcly throught the counter.
Cash Drawers
All types of cash drawer are supported. These include sliding or flip top, with or without media slots, etc. The drawer can be opened either automatically during a sale or manually with a key.
Card Swipes & Chip and Pin
Vector is authorised with all the major merchants to use our integrated card processing module. A chip and pin card reader and a mag swipe reader can be attached be connected to take credit/debit card details, verification is obtained instantly online using either broadband, ISDN or phone lines.
Barcode Readers
All types of bar code readers are supported and can be supplied, including handheld, cordless, ominidirectional and flat bed scanners. A barcode reader enables the operator to scan a stock item. Not only will this bring up the item's pricing information, but it will also bring up stock levels, and any other general information stored about the product in the systems stock file.
Customer Displays
A customer display allows people to see exactly what they are buying, how much the item costs, the sale total, and how much change is to be given at the end of a sale. It can also show the customer some useful information whilst they wait. Customer displays are either integral with the EPOS-T or on stand alone pole displays
Printers and Images
Vector supports and Windows-supported printer for reports, invoices, shelf edge labels, and larger customer VAT receipts. Vector supports receipt and cheque printers including some with the ability to produce barcode labels. Dedicated barcode printers capable of producing labels from Garden Centre outdoor plant labels to jewellery labels are alsos upported. CSY supplies hardware and software solutions for all types of retail printing. Vector also supports the inclusion of product images which can be displayed at the Point-of-Sale or used in our Ecommerce integration.
Weighing Scales
The CSY Vector System is approved for the connection of weighing scales in all EU countries. These can either be directly connected to the Point-of-Sale or of the type that print barcoded labels.
