Bennetts of Derby
CSY Vector has been chosen by Bennetts, Derbys longest established department store. Installation began in June 2007. Bennetts like a number of CSY customers is a member of the Association of Independent Stores [AIS]
The COOP
CSY is pleased to announce that it has received its first ever order from a member of the COOP group. The Vector system will be installed in a division of the United Coop Pharmacy group. CSY is delighted to have made this breakthrough and we look forward to a long and fruitful working relationship with the Coop
Tile Giant
Tile Giant has recently acquired 9 new stores formerly owned by Right Price Tiles, a company that went into administration. Tile Giant has chosen CSY Vector for the new stores which were installed and fully integrated into Tile Giants company-wide Vector system within 7 days of Tile Giant taking over the shops. Tile Giant is the UK's fastest growing tile chain and with 30 shops is now the UK's second largest chain. Mo Iqbal, Tile Giants MD said "CSY Vector gives us virtually instant access to all information about our company, which makes re-supplying our stores from our warehouse much more efficient and saves us admin staff, as a lean and mean company offering our customers super value we could not afford to be without it"
Corkill Pharmacy
Corkill Pharmacy is the first Pharmacy on the Isle of Man to install the CSY Vector system and naturally we wanted to start at the top. Richard Corkill the owner was until recently the island's First Minister - equivalent to the Britsh Prime Minister and obviously a shrewd judge.
All Linux Vector
CSY Vector is now available in an all Linux version. Both the servers and desk top on the points of sale can run entirely under Linux. The overhead and cost of Microsoft Windows and server software are eliminated. Linux carries less overhead than Windows and CSY Vector Linux 6 can run on most recent PC based machines without alteration. Windows based and Linux based terminals can be freely intermixed on the CSY network allowing users to retain Windows based applications on their office computers while enjoying the speed reliability and freedom from virus'and other interferents provided by Linux both at the both front end and back office application areas.
CSY Vector will of course continue to be available under Microsoft products. Features of Vector - Picture Buttons
The CSY Quick menu system is a self build multi layer touch screen menu system that allows retailers to handle hard to barcode items and hospitality outlets to design their own menu systems and to change them quickly and easily without needing to contact the system supplier.
Now as well as making it simple to add buttons, CSY Vector makes it incredibily simple to optionally have any button as a picture of the product rather than text alone. CSY Vector takes a picture from any typical computer source, scales it and adds it the menu button top - all from the tick of an options box.
Scheduled Reports
One of the many appreciated features of Vector is its ability to schedule, prepare and e-mail reports. From the many options available the user can define how he wants his reports to look and what information for what period is to be included. He can then tell Vector to run the report on a regular schedule and send the results to any e-mail addtress. Vector users can have the days take from single or, through CSY Store Sync, multiple stores calculated and e-mailed to them every night and or the previous weeks sales profits trading patterns, fast and slow sellers and comparisons with the same period last year e-mailed to them within a few minutes of the last store closing on Saturday evening. Vector can send selected reports to multiple E-mail addresses and can have an unlimited number of different sets of reports, on different schedules sent to different e-mail addresses that are acessible from anywhere.
Truly timely information that equals increased sales and profits
A new guide to setting up and running scheduled reports is now available by selecting the documentation icon on the desk top Chip and Pin progress Running costs for CSY's integrated Chip and Pin solution has been shown to be as little as one tenth of the cost of bureau based solutions.
American Express support available 3rd quarter 2006
Most retailers installing chip and Pin have had to undergo comprehensive time consuming and expensive testing to prove their systems. Or they have been forced to install expensive radio based networks to handle Chip and Pin. CSY has worked very hard to establish itself with the banks and with EMV as a company authorised to install true system integrated Chip and Pin in retailers without the retailer having to undergo the testing. After a very long and arduous process CSY has now obtained type approval from all the major UK banks and can install chip and pin systems with a minimum of fuss or effort from the retailer. In effect CSY can now install a true integrated Chip and Pin system with the same ease as a traditional magnetic swipe system. And at an attractive price that competes well with and is mostly better value than stand alone terminals from the banks. CSY Vector in Pharmacy In conjunction with Unichem, CSY is now marketing a Pharmacy version of Vector. Vector Pharmacy has special links to Unichem and other Pharmacy wholesaler ordering systems and links to product and prices files from Unichem and other wholsalers.
Details of CSY Vector can be found in Unichem's 2006 catalogue.
Vector Pharmacy includes PIP codes regularly updated from the C and D data base.
Integration to PMR systems is underway.
Multiple Pharmacy chains can use CSY Vector Store sync and warehouse systems for internal replenishment systems.
More details of the exciting CSY Vector Pharmacy system can be obtained from our sales team or from Unichems customer help desk. Vector 6 Development Our latest version of Vector - Version 6 is now installed in morethan 400 customer companies. NEW IMPROVED FINANCE TERMS The British Hardwre Federation [BHF] is a company owned by over 3000 businesses in the UK DIY, hardware cookshop, agricultural machinery and associated businesses.
